Why the death rate looks lower, but actually isn’t.

People have been asking me why the death rate is “going down” or is lower in certain places. I created this graphic to explain that it isn’t. It’s actually an illusion due to the time lag between cases being reported and deaths being reported- due to the time it takes to die. Let me know if I explained this well or if you have questions:)
